Fabián Schalekamp: The Heart of the Forest

"El cor del bosc" by Fabián Schalekamp brings light, airy structures into the lobby of Palma's Cort town hall. Rooted in respect for nature, the work treats the forest as a web of interdependent relationships, with each element supporting the others. The fragile, open-lined pieces rest modestly against the architecture rather than dominating it, inviting slower, more attentive ways of living with the environment.
