Chamber Orchestra of Mallorca 10th Anniversary Concert

To celebrate its tenth birthday, the Chamber Orchestra of Mallorca presents an evening that traces its journey. It opens with a newly composed fanfare, then moves to a Mozart concerto and closes with Brahms's optimistic Second Symphony, a work of fullness and hope.

First Half

Fanfàrria pels 10 anys de l'OCM by Bernat Quetglas, written for this anniversary and full of references to the orchestra's shared path.

Then Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor, K. 466, performed by Mallorcan pianist Magí Garcías, the orchestra's first guest soloist. About 30 minutes.

Interval

A 15-minute break.

Second Half

Brahms's Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 73, in four movements, about 45 minutes.
