2027/28 dates aren't published yet. A fresh BOIB resolution sets the calendar every year, so this page will be updated once it lands.

Catchment zones

Zone boundaries decide who counts as “in-zone” for the proximity points below, but they aren't published as data you or we can query — the Conselleria's own resolution publishes them only as a scanned, image-only map inside a BOIB annex, and that same resolution describes any map as merely orientative. There's no reliable address-lookup for your zone, so we haven't built one — the underlying data doesn't exist in a form that would make it accurate.

One simplification does hold across the whole 2026/27 round: Palma is a single zone, the Zona Única Palma, so any address within the city counts as in-zone for every school in Palma.

Baremo points estimator

Baremo points estimator

Estimated total: 0 pts

Every público and concertado place is allocated by adding up points across a fixed set of criteria — the baremo — defined in Decret 43/2024. The criteria below haven't changed for the 2026/27 round. Fill in your family's situation to see roughly where you'd land.

This estimator is unofficial and for planning only. It approximates Decret 43/2024 — only the Conselleria's own scoring, calculated when you apply, decides admission.

If two families tie

When two applications end up with the same total, the tie is broken by comparing each criterion in order — starting with siblings, then proximity, and so on down the list — until one family scores higher on some criterion. If everything is still tied after that, the seat is decided by a public software lottery (sorteig públic).

Arriving mid-year

If you move to Mallorca outside the admissions windows above, Ordre 4/2026 (Art. 29) and Decret 43/2024 (Art. 22) set the process: you register interest through the Servei d'Escolarització, and placement follows available vacancies — in-zone schools are considered first, then adjacent zones, then the wider municipality. A specific school is only offered if it actually has a free place; asking for a particular school doesn't guarantee a seat there.

Forced transfers for reasons like bullying, gender violence, health needs or serious family circumstances follow the same rule: they're still conditional on a vacancy existing. Nobody, including the administration, can place a child at a specific school that's already full.
