Kintsugi + Alex Abril + Benjamín Aedo

Fira B! brings three very different jazz voices to the TM Xesc Forteza on a free-entry afternoon. From improvised instrumental sound to fusion rhythms and South American guitar, it's a sampler of where contemporary jazz is heading.

---

17:30 — Kintsugi

Improvised music built from fragments and happy accidents, inspired by the Japanese repair art of kintsugi. João Mortágua (saxophone) and Luís Figueiredo (piano), now joined by guitarist Pedro Branco on their second album.

18:15 — Alex Abril

A duo blending jazz fusion with tradition, with dense rhythmic complexity and melodic sensitivity. Abril Saurí (drums) and Alex Duato (piano) are on their first tour across Spain, Europe and Asia.

19:00 — Benjamín Aedo

The Chilean composer and guitarist presents his new trio with Max Villavecchia and Marcelo Woloski, focusing on rhythmic and tonal experimentation in South American instrumental music.
