Santa Cecilia Concert

About this event

This special Santa Cecília concert honors Mallorca's identity, heritage and memory through symphonic music, storytelling, poetry and projected images. The program pairs two works by composer Joan Martorell i Adrover: Mallorca. Un viatge a l'interior, a symphonic piece premiered in 2006, and Santanyí: paisatge de memòria, newly written as a tribute to the town and its band. The Banda Municipal de Música de Santanyí, with more than 170 years of history, brings tradition and contemporary creation together.
